Still an e bike ride because you were on a e bike. I ride a mountain bike, not an acoustic mountain bike, analog mountain bike or non e bike mountain bike. Just don’t try to rename my mountain bike because you need a motor to ride a bike.

Personally I think that since e bikes have motors, they should be called motorcycles. Of course cycles with engines should be called engine cycles. Motors are powered by electric current. Engines are powered by combustion.

funny if they just moved the "PIVOT" logo more to the center of the downtube...would be REALLY hard to notice.

At the rate they are progressing im guessing these things are going to be pretty freaking sweet when im ready for one.

I just wished Shimano, Bosch, etc (along with the bike brands) would standardize their charging. Much like C13 for computers/servers or USB-C for small electronics.

I’ll take NJ over MN where I recently lived. Dozens of beautiful parks all over the state but can’t ride 95% of the trails. Only on MTB specific trails, only in the specific direction, and if it rained in the last week don’t even look at the trail or it will explode. Not to mention some places have tire width restrictions. But anyway, a bit off topic, sorry. How about these e-bikes, huh? Pretty crazy right?

Haha I knew what you meant, and figured you probably didn't realize they did emtbs either. Though they should stick to motos because they are off the mark on the emtb.

The word 'game-changer' is notoriously overused in the bike world, but the new Pivot Shuttle SL looks like it may qualify.

Got a used battery pack for the Rise. Golly, it's heavier than I thought. Same thought on the Rise.. it's heavy.

GRR!! I noticed the LEDs on the used battery pack I just received do not turn on. When I received it yesterday I thought the LEDs did not light because of no/low battery level. I've charged the battery but still no LEDs. The bike does sense the pack when connected but this doesn't seem right. The LEDs are needed provide info such as error codes etc. Going to notify the seller.

This whole emtb experience has been clunky and hasn't given me the warm fuzzies. It's been meh at best.
