And ... the orange and blue jersey took the sprint at the end!!
I was dead the last 3 or 4 miles. I should have brought one more gel which should have gotten me through it.
Thanks to Kathryn for waiting up for the slowpoke.
In the last 7 miles, it started pouring down rain. Just buckets. When you're in the pack, with it coming down from the top, and the spray from the tires in front of you, it feels like you're totally immersed. I'm getting a bit annoyed with this weather 😉. Came home smelling like road.
You should have said hi, what jersey were you? I had plenty of gel
Oh yea, did you see that crazy dog plow into one of the guys? And the trailer trash owner just sat there, didn't even call him :hmmm:
I didn't know who was who, having never met anyone before. 😀 Thanks though.
Yea, that dog was crazy...I was actually pulling at that moment and almost hit the dog myself. Scary to hear that dog has done that before & the owners were standing on the driveway! Lucky the dog ran through the frame of that guy and not into the wheel.
I had on the black & orange Addictive Cycles jersey - on the black and yellow Tarmac.
School's out, this is on my radar again.I plan to go to the Thursday, same time, same place.

Serious?! It jumped through the frame? Thats crazy!

Actually, I think that's not right. ZAC was in front, I was behind the guy so I had the full view. The dog in reality did hit the spokes / backwheel and bounced off. The bike fishtailed but the guy (who was over 50) managed a great save.
I'm looking for a whipaaa smiley for Jdog  😛
We had a good ride out of Cranbury
