Going Long and Hard.

Nice- i have a few sites i use to make routes. I have a nice one for the spring. I think it average about 123 ft of climbing per mile.

I know all of the roads from my house up to Mooch, I didn't realize how much there was south. I downloaded some dude's route off RWGPS I want to do next weekend.

Schweet! Ive ridden every road on that file. There is more stuff around Nummy Lake as well. He is taking you out by the federal prison. 45 mph dirt road and dogs unleashed in the beds of pick ups.

My wife grew up about a 10 miles north of there. You actually have ridden past my in laws on one of those 600km.

Is it worth the drive? I'm kinda just looking to do something a little different. I've logged like 50,000 miles on the Canal and through Hunterdon.

Imo what kills it is how flat it is- but you know that already. Otherwise, tons of dirt roads

If i never rode there before, my curiosity would drive me down there. Prolly wouldnt make conscious point to go there again though.

So, it's like Wharton. I went there once, realized how terrible it was, and have never returned.

Yup- its all the same down there. The landscape monotone of scrub oak and pine is a mind fuck. Especially when you can see over a mile on some roads and can’t coast anything.

Sounds like perfect Kanza Training. I'm in.

Haha- so perfect for training minus hills. You basically have complete control over the important stuff- power/hr or whatever you use. You can always go big and throw Estelle Manor in that loop as well. Flat city son!

Finished the loop I wanted to do yesterday. Today I waited for the train in Port Reading to leave and continued on. It only went another mile so that was a bust.

Came home and ate lunch before Gym Session. Added pullovers with a plate in order to stretch out my bad shoulder.

Lunch Ride. Recovery Day so went nice and easy. Played on a down tree in South Mountain for a bit. Don't run into many bigger non built log overs these days.

Found some bad shee-ot in my fat bike. Went to go replace the BB because it had play and found out it was my frame. It's wallowed out from 50 billion miles.

Red Bull shim and some green loctite will hold me over until I can afford a new frame.

Don't try this at home.
