@Robin is smiling.
All the ladies in front of her are numbers 5xx or 2 digits and Robin is 495. That's good right? I need a sports announcer to help me out here.
All two of those climbs wore me out for the rest of the course today. Might need to buy myself a road bike and a hill. Excellent conditions considering the heavy rain and overall a good time with good organization.
Here's a few teaser pics from today. Not the best, but not the worst. Was tough with the lighting changing constantly with the cloud coverage so I missed a few people from Cat 1/Pro before my race.
Thanks so much for coming out everyone - such an awesome day! Thanks so much for the great pics @gtluke - as always, the best! Thanks to the West Milford First Aid Squad for patching up everyone (damn those early a.m. slippery rocks!), and Shimano for donating any pair of shoes they make to our Cat.1 Women winners, and the Echo Lake Baptist Church for providing neutral water support on a hot day!
Results are here - http://goo.gl/ppLLEN . We know there are a few spelling mistakes - we'll fix those tonight! Also, a few lost and found items - let us know if you left anything behind (besides your dignity, of course!)
Also, on a serious note - a huge, GIGANTIC big sloppy kiss to everyone who was there - racer, spectator, volunteer - we did a lap of the course and the parking lot this a.m., and it was SPOTLESS - like we had never been there. Way to show everyone what a great group the MTB community is - thank you for being so respectful of our quirky little park!
