Riding this afternoon. Supposed to be very rideable.

Rode today almost the whole park. only saw 1 mud spot. trails were great

From what I hear and see. The trails are still snow covered, wet, and mushy soft snow. Stick to pavement unless you're on the fatty brigade.

Even the Fat brigade won't enjoy riding in those conditions. The warm temps are killing our fat party.

The potential problem will be compacted/icy sections, especially in the shade.

Trails look clear with multiple icy/slush areas still around but sill very wet as of this mornings walk.

How much snow did Hartshorne get?

I believe that area received about 5 inches. Although probably at least 1/2 melted, if anyone does go out the temps are supposed to get above freezing by 9:00 or so. So after that it will be getting muddy and causing damage

Scoped it out yesterday afternoon. It's a wet, muddy mess. Best to stay away for awhile.

Went today at 8:00am. The first couple of hours were good because everything was frozen, but once it got warmer, everything softened up. Sandy Hook beach was good though. No mud. 🙂

Rode Huber and Harts today. Trail conditions were excellent. On my 14 mile ride, I only saw about 100ft of trail that had any snow.

Go before it thaws. Today was muddy, Huber was in better shape then Hartshorne. Tomorrow is supposed to be significantly warmer, I'd go first thing in the morning. I went today around Noon and it was to late, to much mud.

Prime conditions today-99.5% mud free.
