Hunting

They probably don't want to clean up a man with shaved legs, tights, eating granola and judging them anyway.

Don't ride in a fur coat and you'll be fine

Whoa now, slow down. He should be fine in this:

Pot, meet Kettle 😀

I reserve the right to have an opinion about anyone that takes a firearm or bow to a recreation area... I've seen some of these tubby bleary-eyed bastards staggering into Allaire 😉

Now, I realise that they are hunting for their very survival, what with Supermarkets not having been invented yet, and the fact that nobody has thought up the idea of a shooting range either...

Thats just a bunch of ignorant statements. They don't just go there to use the woods as a shooting range. You can not buy venison in a supermarket

I hunt and I bike. People hunt for alot of the same reasons that people bike. Enjoy being in the outdoors, the sport, etc etc.The term sharing trail includes hunters.

They also pay for licenses that fund those parks and recreation areas that we bike in.Which in turn gives them more of a right to be in there during hunting season then bikers. Do you pay for a bike license?

Since you are a hunter, do you know if the rules have been changed to allow hunting on Sundays.
Thanks,
John

Yeah, the money from licenses pays a 1/16 of the salary of an extra ranger and/or game and fish official that needs to remove all of the illegal tree stand that are install, monitor how much people are killing , etc... The rest falls on the tax payers, making the majority of the bikers more right to be there than a guy who bought a license.

Sunday Hunting

Sunday hunting in NJ is allowed only on private land and WMAs (Wilderness Management Areas).
Sunday hunting is not permitted in NJ State parks and Forests.

I'm not positive, but I think the Forestry staff would take exception to the statement that hunters have more *rights* to the forest then; boaters, bicyclists, motorcyclists, hikers and campers. (Considering the usage fees, donations and volunteer hours kicked in by those groups.)

Like I said you are very ignorant.

Licensing of Fish and Game reational fees are alot more then you think.

Rangers and officals make alot LESS then you think.

There just as many iresponsible bikers, campers and boaters as there are hunters. You will find that just as in biking a majority of the hunters are resposible individiauls that do not break the law and do not want their sport to be taken away AND just as in biking its the bad ones that give all the good ones a bad rap.
