I fashion my crown from Quetzlcoatl’s quills

what route?

bring a hammer next time and tap that thing in a bit more

3 doves. I'm sure it's in as far as it will go.
I talked Byron into leading Feast of Fools 5.10b
He took once for a break, but otherwise finished the route. This might be the best 5.10 climb anywhere as far as moves go. The exposure isn't magnificent as you are tucked in a corner but the moves are so so good.
The hardest part for me is after clearing the roof there is a garbage stance where you have to clip a piton, and then back it up with something. I can't catch a stance there to do it, and I poop out and have to grab the gear. With no gear I can get it clean.
I did later toprope an 11-, not sure I've ever completed an 11 at the gunks before. They are so god damn hard.

that roof looks beefy. next time give me more than 10 hrs notice that youre going climbing
The roof is easy, you can escape it to the right or go right over it. The crux is above it. Climbing up an open book with marginal holds, slight overhang.
You can lead a 5.7 Hans Puss that's to the left of it, you can see the route arc over right to Byron's head. It finishes on the same anchors and then you can top rope Feast of Fools.
It's right next to arrow, we did that one too. And then Absurdland. Both 4 star climbs.
I think we got in 5 4 star climbs on an insanely busy weekend. Byron got our friend Fernando to lead his first trad climb. 5.3 Red Pillar. Then right after than convinced him to lead Sente, 5.9, and he did it. LMAO

I met my wife and some friends at the Gravity Vault for some climbing after the ride, and then went for tacos and beer after that. It worked out well, I got a full ride in and got to the gym only fifteen minutes or so after the wife.
You could have probably squeezed another ride in after tacos.

I got annoyed with my lifetime supply of craft paper so i made a holder for it. But it was too heavy to spin, so i had to make wooden spacers for the tube so it fit on the post tighter, and now it spins.

It's seriously about 75 pounds. It was in the death she'd when i moved in. I use it all the time, I'll never put a dent in it over a lifetime.
