Glad to see you made it thru the night!
That started out as a helluva ride! Brett's pace was tough to follow, like chasing a Rocket Propelled Goat, until he blew an o-ring in his 2nd stage booster and fizzled back to Earth.
Tell ya right now... if my heart or any other vital organ starts to malfunction during a ride, I'm sure as hell not gonna be a hero with a 'show must go on' attitude like Brett. I'll be in the fetal position crying for my Mommy.
But it was still a blast of a ride, despite the mandatory reduced pace. We (Brett, Chris26 & myself) had crossed paths with Segundo early in DP, so he latched onto our train. Segundo was riding a FS 29er StumpJumper and we swapped bikes for most of the ride. Between the gears and the full squish, it was a totally different world for me. Crazy smooth in little rock gardens and way too confidence-inspiring and fast in the technical descents. I'd get myself hurt in a hurry if I owned a bike like that. Of course, it didn't feel nearly as efficient as my bike - took a lot of work to keep it going on the flats and climbs. But definitely a fun change of pace for a while.
I think Segundo had fun with my bike too...had to pry his hands off of the grips when it came time to part ways. 😉

If i coulda stayed in the game those stats woulda been the shizz! I'm not into the whole"hero" thing at all. It's just that i'm gonna get myself outta whatever i get myself into. I've had people beg me to go to the hospital countless times ,and i don't, and a few days later i'm fine. If my hearts gonna explode ,it's gonna explode wether i like it or not. I was just tryin to manage my situation as best i could and still provide some sort of decent ride for yall. You guys were lookin at me like i had brain drippin out my ear and i'm sorry if i startled you. Anyway, i'm still walkin today, but i think i may have a lil bug of something startin. I think there was a multi layered reason for this but the ovaltine/HEED thing put it over the top i'm pretty sure.
After lookin at this i'm sure what i wanted to do wouldv:getsome:e been tough. If i ever wake up in an ambulance you'll be in the ER as soon as i get up

The Mahlon Wringer. From the Sparta park n ride at 730 am. Gonna go small to recover from whatever happened last week and save some for Suns Matty ride. Gonna take my inside/outside loop and twist it up by adding new connectors and goin clockwise. Wear antler helmets:getsome:

Orrs has got their ski pkgs up online and Dover Sport on rt 46 has got some stuff. Y'all are looking for some metal edge and you want the skis eyeball hieght for tech. If you are chubby or already a DH skier you could go head high or a tad longer. I'm 6' and i'm on 175s. The Rossi BC 65 pkgs are between $380-420.

.. I think i gots a lil sumpin goin on. I've officially got Benderitis. Been feelin decent but have a low grade fever feelin now and then. Today i went out feelin fine and got about 10mins into firewood and i got sweaty and swirley with almost total power loss. It almost feels like what i think an asthma or a panic attack might feel like. Seemed very similar to what took Matty out of the Doc/Soundz ride. So tommorrow you may have to just bear with me at times if shizz starts headin south.

My wife is an ER nurse, if anything bad happens to you I can get her on the phone and she can tell you to go to the hospital. 🙂
I would have come to the last one if not for my trip to island dragway...chances to drive 9 second cars that arent yours dont come often in life.
