Is a gravel bike slowly reverting back to a mountain bike?

Wow, DJ in 10th at the end of unbound on mtb tires. Man, Conti and Felt will be out of stock soon! Thanks John Tomac! You changed the gravel world into a bunch of mtbers! And Chase was in the 1st breakaway with that disk wheel. Holy crappoli!

I’m pretty sure John tomac has absolutely nothing to do with gravel racing today. But what I know is who you’ll be thinking about later in the bathroom and how he his Mtb setup had changed the face off off road racing.

Not the fact that so many innovators of the sports had put countless hours of testing various setups to find the fastest and most efficient which happened to be yours truly. Maybe John tomac is the spirit of gravel IMO

Just remember. His downhill course was equivelant to larger cross and long lane(gravel)…mindblown! Like we are watching back to the future!

The RodeoLabs Team really brought gravel back to its vintage MTB roots. Is it the next big thing?

So they beat at least 200 "serious" gravel racers, on overpriced 80's mtb meets '24 road bike hybrids, with spay bombed Wally World beach cruisers. And probably had way more fun and laughs than whoever won. These guys are freak'n heros in my book !

Yeah, I loved it. Nothing wrong with finishing after them either, not everyone is pushing for a sub 10 hour finish out there. Everyone lining up for Unbound is awesome.

Any recommendation on what tire pressure to run for tubeless gravel bike that I use on road, DR Canal, and Columbia trail? Right now my ride feels way too stiff where I am feeling every bump that comes along ☹️

Should at least list the size and pressure along with your weight.

Keep going down in 5psi until it feels great. If you flat, add 5psi.
