Anyone have an old ipod loaded with music from 2007-2015 era? Can be any genre except heavy metal or screamo. Just needing something to plug into my car.

I just might actually have what you're looking for. I can't guarantee the iPod still works though since I haven't used it in over a decade. It's the old school one with a physical hard drive and a wheel.

You can use one of these, I think I have one, you can have it for free.

It pairs with your phone through bluetooth or aux cable and then connect to your car radio through FM.

I used an FM transmitter for YEARS in my older car that had no Aux/USB/BT connections. Worked fine, just had to occasionally change the station on longer trips where my "good" station turned into a "real" station.

I'll honestly even spend the money to get the battery replaced, just so I can play pong. lol

The other half of this is that I only have cell on my phone, not data, so no streaming.

You all is funny -
Can't miss it, if you don't have it.

The phone can load music locally (ie over wifi or tether) for playback in the car - only limit is phone memory.

an ipod would be retro-cool tho!

Why burden your car battery? All you need is one of these - just supply the elbow grease every time you're at a stoplight and you can have tunes for every ride ...

regenerative braking would do the trick. or maybe windmill/drive belt pulley system.
taking a cue from Rick - go directly mechanical and save the earth.
although the frictional heating along with the CO ........
😉

I have an iPod classic in my X as well. Plugs into aux jack and works like a charm. You’d have to pry it out of my cold dead hands though.

In my more modern car I have Apple Car play so typically use iPhone/Pandora, but also have an iPod Nano connected through USB for when I want more of my own selection. Also works great. I may have a few of the older iPod “sticks” lying around (carry about 100 songs) and I can give you that but they are no longer supported by iTunes so you may have to find another way to load them up. Let me know.
