lettuce discus garage flooring options

THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING
I really want one of those cool garage floor tile setups in the casa. Seems like $2 a square foot is as cheap as I've seen. Those mats look meh.

Anyone have any experience in this field?

Epoxy coat it. It's a new garage with no oil spills so you really should just do it.

the floor has splits in it, divided into 4 concrete "sections" if that makes sense.

kind of like this, minus the corvette and awesome color

you can epoxy it over the cracks like that amirite

Yes. It'll be awesome. The only downside is oil spills are slick. The upside is if you go with that flooring when you have a spill it'll seep underneath.

Luke went through this, just ask him what to buy and what to do.

Epoxy it. The cost pays for itself later in life when you still have a floor that is stain free and still looks dope when you get the vette.

i'm not too worried about oil issues, as its mostly half bike shop for now, i dont know how much i will have car in the actual garage.

Also the mats are great until they get beat up or start to curl or otherwise deform. Mat$$x2 is no bueno.

i gotta worry about watering that sod and that seeded back yard, good thing they leave the sprinklers behind for a little

I have like 38 hoses if you're still in NJ, I need to get rid of some. Also invest in one of these. Well worth it. You should be watering the seed a few times a day then slowly go longer/less often as they sprout and grow. With the timer it's set and foget.

I used epoxy for my garage floor last spring. Do it. It was't that bad and with a new garage floor it should be simple. Definitely go with a clear coat finish and use a light to ensure that you get full coverage.
