Lewis Morris race route

I rode the course this morning and was surprised by the amount of people I saw. The course is in real good shape, much better then last week. There are still a few wet spots, most notably the last half mile or so. Between the single track and down by the stream there is still a lot of water otherwise the course is great. The down tree has been removed.

including a guy with a FOX helmet who was clearly trying for Strava downhill segments (if they even exist at LM)

So many people ride there, the whole place is a Strava segment.😀
The last mile or so stretch is fun, but I doubt I'd drag the DH bike up there for it.


I'm really bummed to miss this race, it's the only one I was planning and I felt really good before I busted me. Hope everyone has fun!

i stayed on the road for and avoided the last piece of single track, it was too muddy. not sure if that section is going to be in it.

We did a bit of trail work today and that section will be in the race. A bit of mud but overall pretty good considering all the rain.

I took a casual tour of the loop today. I kinda like it CCW. I forgot how smooth and fast this place is. Going to be some guys throwing down some crazy fast lap times tomorrow.

Also...I have this stuff that I can remove from the bike after the race tomorrow if anyone going is interested.
