I stopped by the back lot yesterday during the rain to see how the water was flowing on the section we worked on. Overall, the trail looked very good. We have had a LOT of rain in our area and there was little to no standing water on trail and the nicks seemed to be detouring the water flow to the sides. Some areas could use a little more work but I think this is as wet as those trails will ever be and they were pretty fresh built.
The main thing I was worried about getting thrashed from water was the steps. The gravel/clay mixed was still in there and the top was holding up - you could see the water come down the blacktop and go right into the cuts Val made - real nice.
The transplant looked a little stressed as the leaves were droopy - hopefully the rain will give that little tree some help.
