New to MTBNJ

Howdy!

I just came back from college and am back at home in bergen county nj for the next year!

I'm very eager to get some riding in!

I went to school in VA where I rode Chandler's mountain by Liberty University (great trails!!)

I still consider myself a beginner but I'm hoping to get into that intermediate category with a lot of summer loops.
 
I can't wait to hit up skyline/ringwood, I have heard a lot of great things!

Do you know if you have to pay or need a pass?

from Memorial day to Labor day you need to pay to park inside the park @ Ringwood. But you can park at the school (see trail directory here) and avoid the fee.

no fee for parking @ skyline
 
Also check out Jungle Habitat which should be about 30 min from you. Of the ones near you, I think you'll have the best time there esp if you're still getting used to climbing.
