I've been trying to ride jungle at least one night a week...

Its kind of like riding a new park. Lots of fun. Some of the more tech sections are harder as shadows hide some of the rocks. How is that place at night? I would like to try it.
How many people ride by themselves at night?
For those who do ride alone, I recommend the "Road ID" app. It sends an email or message to folks to let them know your out riding and a link to a map of your location and track. If you exceed the alotted time or stop for more than 5 minutes (option) it sends out a notification. Be aware it only works for areas with cell coverage.

I would also recommend wearing bright colors, reflective aparrel, a whistle, sufficient lighting and the ability to identify your gps location. This is not an endorsement of riding where or when you shouldn't but anything you can do to avoid deploying SAR will help us all.

NOW I MUST GO
Have any of you ever ridden without lights at night
I'm riding solo tonight. It does get a little freaky by yourself but it is also wicked fun. I have a knife hooked to my pack chest harness for just a little feeling of security.
