Which rack were you interested in, I believe the top tube has been claimed(pending pickup)If iman29's guy falls through I'm interested.
Someone was interested, but not committed to it so it is open. The first person that is able to pick it up can have it. the rust may look bad, but it is very sturdy, I only upgraded because I have a 2-inch receiver and TBH my bike is usually in the bed of my truck so wasn't getting used anymore. The non top tube one for the wheels.
I've been searching for the spine for the Yakima hitch rack, if nobody takes the whole rack I will gladly take it from you. I need it so I can modify my Yakima rack into a 1 bike unit, which means I will have to junk most of it, so if anybody can make good use of it as it is I'll pass.I have a couple hitch racks if anyone is interested the Thule has rust but works. I believe the platform rack is a Thule, the top tube is definitely a Yakima. Pretty sure both racks are on their way out, but will let you know if anything changes.I've been searching for the spine for the Yakima hitch rack, if nobody takes the whole rack I will gladly take it from you. I'm trying to cobble together a 1-bike rack for winter. If you end up with junk you're looking to dispose of to help, I may be happy to grab them!I've been searching for the spine for the Yakima hitch rack, if nobody takes the whole rack I will gladly take it from you. This one is the one I'm interested in, it looks very much like a older version Yakima to me...I believe the platform rack is a Thule, the top tube is definitely a Yakima. Pretty sure both racks are on their way out, but will let you know if anything changes.
my wife will be very happy
Nah, never liked those racks, had one back in the '90s and thought it was really sketchy. Thanks, let me know if whoever was supposed to get the hitch rack flakes off...why are you so difficult to get free stuff from? And why I haven't seen you for this long, aren't your children married or off to college yet?!?!?I stand corrected thought it was an ancient Thule T2 but apparently it was a Yakima Hold up. It has no manufacturer info remaining, had to go back to the original post I got it from.
Either way, I think it will be gone soon, but if you want to try and make the top tube rack a single bike that still remains and you are more than welcome.
I got a lot of free stuff I need to get rid of trying to make the wife happy so I can get out riding more. Gotta figure out where I am riding this weekend maybe we can get together, I have been doing really early morning a lot though which is probably why you don't see me as often. I am supposed to be doing High Mountain soon, also trying to get a ride in at Nassau before the freeze-thaw hits. Want to show my brother and niece around there.Nah, never liked those racks, had one back in the '90s and thought it was really sketchy. Sounds like a plan. I can't stray too far from home for a number of reasons myself, not sure how I manage to ride the last coupe of group rides...but i'm sure we can work out something, during the weekend early morning I can probably get farther from home...I got a lot of free stuff I need to get rid of trying to make the wife happy so I can get out riding more. Tray style hitch rack is with its new owner remaining is a free Yakima top tube hitch rack.top tube hitch rack from Yakima
You can still get parts for those. I bought new beams and some longer straps for the one I got from @soundz a few years back, which gave it a whole new life. Sorry though...still need the spine !I've been searching for the spine for the Yakima hitch rack, if nobody takes the whole rack I will gladly take it from you. I tried to order from Yakima but they were out of stock forever, I signed up for a notification but it never came, I was also trying to get the evo tray as the holdup 2 doesn’t really fit any of my + tires…maybe I should just check again though I’m dubious about them having any stock back as for any other bike related part…You can still get parts for those.
