Peezy's Black Magic 2013

You can have my spot and ride my SS this weekend.

I am not going.

Now let's talk about this deadline I have given you.

j

Thanks J, im thanking you for pearl, he will thank you after the race 🙂

I have been meaning to get over to Coppermine but it is just pushing my ride time to get there in the AM, new pavement may do the trick

I'm pretty sure I may take Jay up on his offer, maybe.

That road just has no resistance to it anymore. I need to really hammer it next time, I felt good but was in total shock how smooth the road was. I think I could come close to your time for some reason 😉

Monday, nothing like rushing home and beating all the traffic, just to get stuck here:

I respect trains and 18 wheelers because our country would not function without them, but they always seem to be on the same schedule as me. CMON MAN

We just got out and went for a daisy ride. It was so freaking windy. Hardly enjoyable, but felt good to just spin the legs out. I didn't feel empty Sunday, but Monday morning hurt. I guess it was all the jumbling around in the rocks. This wind and colder air needs to GTFO. Garmin Connect has been down every time after I go to upload a ride, so you will get a Strava link today:

Sneezing
I have been taking Benadryl Allergy for the past 2 weeks and my allergies have been held at bay. Can you get desensitized to Benadryl? I don't want to change what I'm doing because it's working, but also don't need to get stuck on this.

Mandi made some bad ass chili. She cooks it in beer. Is this was beer tastes like?

Lights out at 10AM; I think I didn't sleep enough from Sunday night after being awake so damn long.

You are almost 20lbs lighter than me at the moment, so there is an issue if you can't beat my time. Also consider this is the first time I rode this road in 5 years and it was 40*: I am only gonna get faster 🙂

Never had an allergy problem but i am thinking maybe i do now. I know my dad didn't get hit with it until he was my age. Every ride lately has been pretty gobby. Between constant snotting and Fleming makes me feel like a factory. Do you also get chest pain with allergies?

you ride more than me doe

Like 1-2 hours more a week, I am not sure that qualifies more. For whatever reason I do better with climbs where it is steeper in the beginning so suites me well and I have no doubt you can beat today's time.

beer in chili sounds tasty. beer in chili with a side beer would probably be even better 😀

i have gotten more allergic to more things as i have gotten older. i used to have no problems. even poison ivy. i could roll around in the stuff as a kid and never have an issue. now if i ride once at six mile in the summer i'm covered in it.

same with my dad, now me. think it is the trees mostly - whenever the the buds break. a claritin seems to do it - they sell it in bottles rather than blister packs now, so it is easy to pop one in the morning - this helps with the itch in the throat from hackin too (which might be the chest pain??)

[clarkstein]

I can still roll in poison ivy tho! but i won't, cause it is probably coming (although i pulled a vine of it away from the trail at 6mr last tm)

I don't know all the fancy key commands you graphic hippies do.

that is probably a key on E's apple computer.....😀

13th Street. Kevin Lamey owns it.

I've given up that fight; I spun 50x11 the whole distance and can't top it. Bow down to the master

EDIT: for everyone not in the loop, I made a segment on this road that I figured NO ONE would ride, just to see who else is in my area. I found out that one of Carsons friends, Kevin, lives across the street from me. We went back and forth a couple of times on this segment, but he has proven to be the stronger sprinter of the two of us:

And his wife has the QOM on Mandi.
They got your number 😉

Maybe we could come down 1 day and repeatedly hammer this section until we beat it. Is it really all downhill?

I've considered putting together a super loop that includes every KOM that Joe J owns and driving it with a car. Then it would send him 117 emails that he lost his KOMs to me. Then I'd just delete the file so he can't flag me.

Come on, we just moved down the street! I'm not going to try and give you advice, you guys will figure out what's best for you. That being said we think you should try and stay. Maybe you and Lou could buy a duplex...
