Post a picture of your next bike part or mtb gear on order!

so Monday was kind of overcast, but i still did a quick road ride on my lunch break, still gained 6 min of charge (roughly 10%) (some of that 67min was spent an area without any sunlight)

Is the charge really an issue? I never really had much issues on long road rides with my Garmin head units not lasting, and that's including a shitty battery on my 820 which they seem plagued with. Is it a matter of leaving the backlight on the whole ride?

Even my Garmin watch which I use now lasts a surprising long time.

idk iv never had a problem with battery life, i got this one through health insurance for a discount and they didnt have the regular one or the 1030, so this made it cheaper than both.

Still running an 810 and used to have a a 510 and making sure the backlight is low and turns off after 15 seconds is key to saving battery life.

I have done many long rides with those devices (8-10 hours) and had plenty to spare.

However the Garmin varia alerts wake up the screen often which depending on traffic I lose about 10% battery every 15-20 miles.

It's bad enough I need an $800+ seatpost with a second one for backup. Can we make every bike part more complicated? And more importantly does this industry ever learn from the past?

As someone with hand issues who struggles w/ handlebar/grip setup, Matty I assume is in a way worse situation than I am as a career carpenter and those bars are probably a game saver.

Once you ride with one, you can't ride without it. So of course I do.
I disagree, had an axs dropper for about a month . Besides the tire buzzing the battery on landings it was also noticeably slower than bike yoke revive .
