You did that with a power washer?!?!?!?!?.

Looks more like that super powerful fine water jet processing plants use to slice food! Fuck!

Figure maybe posting this will make me feel a bit better. On a TOS new year ride managed to run over a stick that popped up and managed to punctured my shin.. pulled it out quickly and thankfully @Victor I had bandaids in his bag or I would've made quite the mess on the mile plus trek back to the car. As you can see, half that stick entered my leg... happy 2020, yay... took 5 stitches at the er, that bill should be fun

Oh shit! ? Before I read the post I thought it was a French Fry! Must have been some kinda magic bandaid to keep that shit together on the trek back. Heal up quick!

I carry assorted sizes and after @Danimal puncture injury, am updating my first aid supplies because sh_t happens. He’s lucky he didn’t damage muscle or bone.
I know 2 guys who were off the bike for quite awhile after shin stick punctures and the infections that followed because they weren't cleaned thoroughly.

I can see that happening. Luckily he sought prompt medical attention. My concern is getting someone safely out of the woods to the professionals as soon as possible. When riding technical terrain(which is every weekend) I wear knee pads but after Dan’s puncture am now looking for a knee shin pad combo.

i'm worried about the infection for sure. I went to urgent care first and they irrigated and the dr said i should prob go to the ER to get a x ray to check for debris. They irrigated again and stitched me up, but things are pretty swollen at the moment and they didn't give me any antibiotics either so i'm just hoping for the best!

Sale at Campmore $7.99. Just a very basic kit but is compact and waterproof. I like how it has a mountain bike on the packaging. Our sport does get acknowledged once in a while.

There's only one thing to do. Cut off the leg and give your bike to me so it gets ridden until you can grow a new leg! 😱 JK Heal up and get back at it, (need picture of wound for effect).
