Post your BooBoo's

Blue got me tonight. No film yet, but fresh out of the ER and a broken rib diagnosis. Thankfully nothing else other than a few cuts. Be careful out there folks. 👍
Ribs are one of the worst.... heal fast Dude...

Going down Tempest at Creek this past Sunday, there were people stopped at the top of the drop before the step up and also blocking the go around to the left. I tried to stop and go by the guy on the drop but he turned his bike towards me when I yelled and I clipped his bike and went over the bars off the drop and into the rocks on the side of the trail. Direct hit on my back. Luckily the Fox D30 protection worked and left me with a tattoo and some rib cage pain but it could have been worse.

August 24 Blue Mountain. Leatt helmet saved my life. I was wearing full gear and my rib cage felt like I broke a few ribs. Chest and head CT scans came back good. Broken R hand and L elbow at the radial head. Tore ligaments in both hands and the elbow. I’m riding again still a bit limited.
So happy I purchased good protective equipment.

Liked for living through it.

Glad you are healing up. Slow and steady wins

whoa! looks like a full face plant/OTB! Goes to show you what having the right gear for the job really means for sure!

like Pat said, slow and steady comeback - stay well.

Sorry to see this. What's the story though?
Slid out taking a high speed turn and smashed my knee into a big tree root. Ripped the top layer of skin off my kneecap. Wasn’t in a lot of pain but the knee joint swelled up instantly. (This is my fake knee). I have been icing and wrapping it since Saturday. The swelling is down but clearly there was some internal trauma. I’m not in much pain so I’m going to wait and see.

Taking back to the trails after a long pause and an extended (for me) stretch on the stationary bike happened to be on two consecutive snow rides on my fat bike...yay fat bikes, what are the chances.

Anyhow, on my way back I lost the front wheel over an ice patch on Ice Pond (how appropriate) and landed with my left pec on a baby's head size rock that happened to be right in the middle of the fire road. The pain was intense and after almost two weeks it still lingers, even though it's now much less. No visible bruises, I almost thought I caused myself a heart attack given the specific location of the affected area.

Needless to say, I haven't been able to go back on any bike just yet, stationary or actually mobile. Such a bummer.

Falling at CR with handlebars turning sideways… left chest hit the side bar perfectly to cause me to see stars and question my riding… thus after a few minutes I told myself nobody feels sorry for you and fu#%kin ride so that is what I did for a few miles.

Bruise coloring after a few days.
