Revel no more. 😟

They are super nice. Finish was second to none. Gordon Wadsworth was on them. They had also bought the old maker of the El Jefe SS as well. Sad to see them go.
Was looking at the stock EL Jefe geared on the Revel website this morning. Now the website is not working.

Well typically I would say yes...but the only think a bank can do with this stuff now is sit on it....they wont be paying the 145% tariff either
Maybe we will see a bunch find their way to Costco so you can buy a bike that has no warranty and no service parts.

I am not sure how anyone is surprised at this when the big bike brands are struggling and they have much deeper pockets to weather a storm.

These smaller brands are cool, and while they may have innovations, it is hard to imagine a brand that opened in 2019 could even have survived after COVID fall out. So 5-6 years in is when the warranty game starts to bite you, which is just part of the game when dealing with carbon.

oh and its about to get worse
Chinese-owned and operated ships will be charged $50 a net ton, a rate that will increase by $30 a year over the next three years.

Chinese-built ships owned by non-Chinese firms will be charged $18 a net ton, with annual fee increases of $5 over the same period.

This is new and on top of the tariffs as a plan to bring back ship building in the US.....which hey, great, i'd love that....however in the meantime the US only has 178 total cargo ships...or 0.2% of the worldwide fleet.....this is not going to be a quick fix

Even better, China bought all the steel and iron ore in 2008-9

Darn, an over priced brand folds…. So sad, maybe next time make a product that more people can afford.
Sorry, not sure if your profile is up to date, but Revel is more overpriced than Transition? Bikes are expensive... sucks to see a company fold, my point above was can't blame everything on politics...

I’m sorry I brought this up. The Tariff thread is on my ignore list. Now y’all bringing it ova here to the ā€œlet’s be sad a really cool boutique bike company folded.ā€

I blame bird flu.
