The Riverbed Connector trail is growing on me.The ride and the bike after the ride … need I say more?
It has some cool rock lines and I find myself riding it more often now.

Which trail are you referring to? The one that used to be blazed white, one trail lower than tres amigos off the pipeline? The Riverbed Connector trail is growing on me.

yes. It's entrance from the pipeline got re-routed last year (or maybe the year before).Which trail are you referring to? The one that used to be blazed white, one trail lower than tres amigos off the pipeline?
I think that's because you got an Ebike, haha 😛. It's actually pretty decent other than the actual river bed part close to the pipeline, and the couple swampy spots closer to the Marker 6 intersection. It also tends to get overgrown in the middle but not a worry this time of year. The Riverbed Connector trail is growing on me.

The ebike is probably part of it. Also figuring out the lines through it, plus some trail work we've done has enhanced the experience.I think that's because you got an Ebike, haha 😛. My least favorite part is the two back to back tight turns with rocks you have to squeeze between, usually resulting in some pedal strikes (for me).
Yes. The pricker bush section but they haven't grown in yet. Maybe that's why I'm clearing it easier now!In the pricker bush section? Gotten me a few times.
Also went OTB on a hidden log there.
They did grow in, but the trail got trimmed last week.Yes. The pricker bush section but they haven't grown in yet. Maybe that's why I'm clearing it easier now!
When i first got my ebike I thought I'd be a big-shot and climb Boulderama.Best to avoid this until the rangers have taken care of it. Enter by the pond instead, unless you like climbing Boulderama.

The good news is that those 2 downed trees are gone. The bad news, a 6ft section of the boardwalk is gone too. Not at all easy to ride, best to avoid that section until it has been replaced.Best to avoid this until the rangers have taken care of it. So the Park Rangers have started roughing in a significant reroute on the White Trail (Lower Trail 2) that would bypass the old worn in trail with a lot of wet spots and boardwalks. Rough route is green line below. @snashters scouted it out and they had a few corporate volunteer groups this month that helped get it started. From pictures, the entrance is too obvious. PLEASE DO NOT RIDE IT YET. It's far from done, not connected, and really, it's not even fun yet. There is an old rock wall that the reroute runs along that we plan to make rideable. That will take a lot of JORBA work and we will make a call out for volunteers when ready. Life is getting in the way of me getting down there much lately, but luckily i have @snashters as my local scout and Ranger Ryan (a rider and JORBA member) as our inside man. Stay tuned. Also, the closed trail (Lower Trail 1) will still remain closed for the foreseeable future. There are a ton of Ash trees in there that need to be professionally removed before they'll even let us back in there for trail work. A potential reroute to dryer ground is in the works for that short section too.
