Suggestions for a Cross Bike

i'm still having nightmares of seeing the 4 to go card.
just don't look at lap cards. If you are going hard enough most S/F straights are a nice place for a quick effort. Just bury your head and pedal.

I don't know how you guys recap your races so well. All those detailed lap by lap descriptions racing MTB and CX. All that stuff is a blur. Every lap just kinda blends together in a terrible suffering fit.

You should bring note cards with you.

the recap from mill creek was a short one because NOTHING HAPPENED FOR ME AFTER 2-3 LAPS

i'm still having nightmares of seeing the 4 to go card.

the key is never to look at lap cards until you think its 2 to go. nothing will make you hate life more than seeing 4+ to go.

as for this bike build:
get something 10 sp - for future racing or to sell
care about tyre choice somewhat - if you cant corner & have terrible tyres you may hate life, especially in slick conditions
try to borrow a CX-outer ring (42-46t) if you plan to run a 53/39 road setup. someone on here as something laying around im sure.

Well I'm taking this thread back to the original intent haha
I finally got my bike all together after a few set backs with All-City.

I don't know that it's 'normal' to go with a mid-cage. I just went with what was came as a 'package deal'. It works with my setup
