Coulda opened that window for a tailwind and cool down ❄️January 24

At the hour marker I checked my watch and it was only at 4 minutes. I resorted to 80s music, including Belinda Carlisle, Rick Springfield, and Journey to get me to 30 minutes, then a good song came on so I went a whole 3 minutes longer. Hence, 33 minutes. I could potentially do this more often.
I see why you indoor people need fans. I didn't have one, so I made one.

Jim whilst you are blasting around Hurrican at race pace, take some notes for me on any sections that are actually nice to spend some time camping and biking. I backpacked a section near Ocala that overlapped a little with the route but I think the nicer parts were a no-bikes wilderness area. Also curious if you come across sugar sand that forces you to air down….
I wore the Wolfgar boots today. They are a touch overkill for any riding not in Antartica. My feet were sweaty the whole ride.My feet started to feel it at mile 15. My shoes are fine in upper teens.
