The BearScat 50!!!!!!!

Back off the meth, Gordo. Still have a month to go.

Don't worry, there will be a showing.

I know. Besides, my teeth are starting to fall out.

I just haven't got around to registering yet. I'll do it before year's end.

Is the Hoo-Ha an AMBC? Great race...I've done it several times. But that's 6+ hours away.

IN! IN! IN! IN! IN! IN! IN! IN! Sign me up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love Waway!!!!!!

I was wondering when you'd be enthusiasticly chiming in...'bout damn time!

That makes sense Jim. 2007 was the year I moved up here from MD, and the last year I did the Hoo Ha. I seem to recall it becoming part of that GT "Golden Bike" thingy as well.

VTC participation is mandatory for this event! Failure to do so will result in revocation of access to the VTC chalet in Teluride, as well as use of Bill's private jet.

Rob - what bike did you get?

I thinking about this one too - I can't do the Wayway H2H race so I may have to attempt this one - wonder what the cutoff time will be for 1st lap

50 miles at Wayway....holy s$@#

Somewhere in the 3.5 - 4 hr. range, most likely.

Wow, the volunteers for this race better get some nice parting gifts. You roll in the halfway point at 4 you're total time will be 8.5 for sure. That's going to be a long day for some people.

The winning times expected to be in the 4.5-ish hour range for the top-top guys?

Yeah. That sounds about right if some heavy hitters show up. I liken this race to the Rattling Creek marathon and the Stoopid 50. And the winning times for those were 4:10-4:15. The Bearscat will be just as hard if not harder.

Volenteers will prob. be working in shifts.

I'm getting my bat ready:getsome:

a lot less painful than that 12 hour race I did there way back in like 2004.

The beavers had dammed the stream, which in turn flooded the trail and required a 12-18" deep, 30 yard water crossing every damn (no pun intended) lap. My feet were wet pretty much the entire time.

Did that race as my first ever. Genesis was the promoter, I believe.
Waaay before the twin bridges were constucted and offered an alternative, the course followed the Red Dot over Nature Jim's bridge. Very wet.

ah crap!😡
my bro in law is getting married that weekend in Mex...I wont make it back in time😡😡
