Tech tickets for work.
I understand the need to prioritize and get the right job to the right tech person, but when i'm on deadline and i have shit i need to upload, i really just want a human being i can message and say FIX THIS PLEASE... instead of some anonymous person asking for a screenshot that says i can't log in because someone F-d up my log in credentials

Edit: they actually asked if i was using the correct email address
Just to put things in perspective....
Young accounting employee, after going back and forth within the IT department looking for who knows what, finally comes to my office and..
Gen
XZ: eh, my phone doesn't work...
Me:I'm assuming the Company phone, yes?
Gen
XZ: eh, I guess, I was was using mine before and it worked.
Me: Ah, Ok. Whatever. What happens to be the problem?
Gen
XZ: I can't get in...
Me: in what, the phone, your e-mail, Teams ? Can you be a little bit more specific? You get an error message and it says what?
Gen
XZ: eh, mail...
Me: what happens when you log in? Do you get an error message? Also, what is your username so I can check if it is blocked?
Gen
XZ: username?
Me: yes, what is your username, the one you use to log in to your devices, you know windows on your PC, your e-mail etc.
Gen
XZ: I don't know.
Me: it's you name dot lastname etc.
and on and on and on....
So be patient with your IT as they probably have to deal with someone like this every day.
In my case on top of my job I have to entertain help desk duties since I'm told we can't afford extra headcount to deal with it, which means I can no longer do my job properly and on new projects because calls like the one above everyday from both the office and 50+ stores across the US.
