Things that make you frown :(

Got new phones from Verizon on Dec 21st. Mine had to be shipped. UPS claimed it was delivered 12/24 5pm. No UPS Truck in my driveway per my cameras. Figured, maybe they wanted to get out early, and they'll deliver Thursday after Christmas. Nope. Put in claim that its lost. Call Verizon to tell them it wasn't received. 12/27 UPS shows up at house with form to say we didnt get it. 1/2/25 and still no phone or phone call from Verizon. Called and they are "Working on it"

I've had a Verizon phone sitting in a cart but haven't pushed the button to make the switch. Stories like this are all over Reddit. Not sure if it's worth the free $1000 phone for the aggravation.

i was able to pick up my last phone at the closest verizon store, same day even, so that was a bonus IMO. give it a look.

They offer a better deal online if you’re switching providers. In addition to the $1000 trade in for my old broken phone they give a $300 gift card that you can use to pay your bills. The $300 isn’t available locally.

so iv been with verizon basically forever, but the deal i got was only available online, but they still let me pick up the paid for phone in store . . . . id be surprised if they dont have that option for you but stupider things have happened.
 
Its on this weekends agenda to go back to Verizon and find someone with an iPad that can get me straight.

Guess I should look for some of these Reddit pages
 
A disappointing, but still a nice ride today.
My riding friend arranged to do a ride with me, they picked the day, the time and the place. I emailed last night around 9PM.
They said wheels down at 10 AM next morning ,Great.
9:40 AM I’m arriving after my 20 mile drive to get there and my phone rings, they’re not coming, too cold. :shrug:

There was plenty at the Cherry Hill store yesterday. I did see there was a Costco egg recall because of salmonella in 5 states. NJ is not on the list.

Riding home after renewing my library card, stopped for traffic, had a mechanical as I tried to pedal.
Thinking rear hub is stripped out. Anyway, down I went making a big spectral, even the nice cop stopped to help.
Bur alas, no hope, mechanical problem. My good neighbor saw me on the ground and stopped to help.
Pulled a few muscles, but all is good. Next stop da shop.
