This Thread Blows - C19 and beyond

Totally true and my kids are all teenager and up. I’m going for a long solo ride tmw while they all sleep in and while I still can.

Lucky for me my new job told me I will still start March 30 just remotely. Waiting for details on that but I need to start so the full medical benefits kick in in case I get it. (Unlikely).
Blasio is talking about shelter in place... altho Cuomo disagrees. This is NY but who knows... should get out while you can.

Don't forget people who work in the Parks and Golf courses, still providing a means for outdoor rec.
Our break room is disgusting 365 days of the year, my wife asked if anyone is sanitizing the building daily. I just laughed and told her we're guys.

Dude... I worry about taking 1 too many dumps.... TP.... 😵
Jeez, I mean I go to costco and once every few months buy one of those big things of TP....my house has 3 people...lasts a really long time. After that, paper towels, after that I have the paper blue shop towels in the garage, after that I have an extensive leave pile....I should be good until about 2023 I figure.

My mom is the best, shes almost 70 now...Still working as a nurse at newark beth. She is PISSED that she cant go out drinking at the bar with her friends, and equally as pissed that she cant do her favorite sport, which is mall shopping. She and my wife are about as equally unfazed by all of this....

My wife spent one day as my sons kindergarten teacher and admitted shes looking forward to going back to the ER today and hanging with her friends..

WFH and being my sons KT teacher when shes at working is a fucking pain I must admit...Hats off to kindergarten teacher, this job blows.

Outside of that, i did get out for a nice ride in wildcat yesterday...for a chilly-ish week day, it was by far the most people I have ever seen there....mostly college kids.

So far to my knowledge, and according to Italian media, the only drug that managed to speed up recovery and lower the need for a ventilator appears to be some drug normally used to fight arthritis. I did not see anything about this on the media over here, but again, I don’t really follow the news much.

Not sure how that would help immediately, considering that Plaquenil is a similar drug and takes at least three months to start working.

Those big Costco toilet paper and Paper Towel bundles last our house at least 3 months. We didn't buy a new one in our apocalypse prep.

As expected WFH means more working hours...no bike ride yet, just the stationary 1 1/2 hour at the time...boring! This thing sucks in so many ways!

I already want to build another bike to not ride it!
