Tuesday Beginner Rides 2012

Mike, it's already raining by me & the forecast calls now calls for 65% chance of rain around our planned start time. I'm not opposed to getting wet, but rain just won't work with the prescription sunglasses I need to use on the bike. So, while I just started to pack up, forecast is just too iffy to drive all the way down there & have to bail if it does rain. Consequently, I'm not coming down. Thanks so much for agreeing to go with me. Hope we can get out on the trails another day soon.
 
Any word on the ride tonight? We still on? I am looking forward to it.

We'll take a look at the weather around 4:30 and make a decision then. Assume that it is on for now.
 
Starting to Rain off and on up here. So I am not going to make it.
A bit of a drive for me to go down and not able to ride..

Can someone text me if it's cancelled? I am heading out now and then right to Allaire. I am old school so my phone doesn't have internet. Chris, I will send you my number even though other folks have it. Maybe everyone can just text me to be sure I get the message. Hee hee!! Just not Frank. Frank's phone is even older than mine.
 
Sorry kiddies, rainy weather on the way has forced us to cancel tonight's Beginner Ride at Allaire. See you next week!
 
Just heard from the source that tonights ride has been canceled due to the rain.
we need to get the dome fixed this is starting to suck eggs....
 
5/22 Allaire ride

I'm new to this forum, not to riding, and would love to get a tour of the park. I'm guessing from the past posts that the ride leaves at 6 PM. Where/what parking lot does it leave from? Is there someone in charge that makes the call whether or not the ride will be cancelled due to weather? Thanks.

The ride meets at the Hospital Rd lot, ready to ride @6pm. If the weather or conditions are questionable a call is generally posted on here by 4pm on day of. This ride is a great way to meet other riders and learn the park.
