Helmet cam from a couple weeks ago in VT up in the Stowe area. The sound is a little off and the last 30 seconds is hosed but should show you some decent sniggle.

The trail builders up there do an amazing job armouring things and making trail flow. If I had more time I would have loved to check out some sections more closely and how they built them. I do know it's the best stuff I've ridden in a long while.

Good stuff Don. I like how the sunshine poking through the treetops gives the whole video a dreamlike quality.

Is this trail the work of JD's crew?

Dude, cool video except at the head cam angle it made you look like Wookie size...
really good trail work looks like it all flows together nicely..

that trail looks familiar 🙂

looks like another hot and humid day in the vt rain forest

Thanks - it was early morning so the sun had a cool effect.

I think JD has done some work on that trail. I actually haven't seen him up there in a while - he moved out of Stowe a couple years ago. Think he's in the Barre area now. From his mtbr.com posts, I think Millstone are his local trails now.

whats up with that random white creature crossing the trail

That's one of the shop dogs - forgoet his name but he's a Corgi mix. One thing besides how nice the trail is up there, is how easy it is to bring dogs on rides. No stressing about leashes and stuff. And dogs love running trails as much as we love riding it.

That,s looks like fun hot day when you did the video?

Not too hot - actually I was freezing on the way to the trail - had the top off my 90. But it was humid as only a VT day in the woods can be.

haha, I've heard lots of talk about those trails over the years and the shop guys where nice enough to let me come along one morning. I was certainly happy to finally experience it - usually I just have time for the stuff right in Stowe. Lots of hard work has been done there and the trail layout was simply beautiful.

BTW - I hit up the Weeks Hill to Maple Run zone in Stowe a couple day before with Jonathan and some other locals. The ride back down into town thru Tony's was MISTY!
