Nice work guys. Hopefully more parks will recognize the chainsaw cert that many Jorba folks will have in a month. Hand saws are so 1800's

The park superintendent asked me to pass along thanks for the impressive work to all who participated.

So, "Thanks!!" again to:

Nice, thanks to everyone that was out there last weekend. This place was my go-to last summer when the rest of CNJ was mud, but how do these trails hold up during the winter? Freeze thaw?

The trails hold up pretty well. Things can get soft nearest the boat launch area, but if you start at the Cushetunk side, it's rocky enough that you'd be hard pressed to rut it up.

BTW...is the entire trail clear now?

We started tm from the Cushetunk side and made it approximately a 1/4 mile from the puke hill descent. That's where things got real nasty and are in need of a chainsaw or two. I don't know if you could ride from the rv lot to puke, but you could ride an out and back from Cushetunk to the above mentioned location. The campground trail is clear so you could add that to your ride if you wanted.

Almost forgot...

We lost one of Kirt's bow saws on this TM.

Please give me or Kirt a shout if you ended up with it, or if you come across it out on the trail.

Looks something like this:
