Cut the tree out of Mines Loop that has forced riders thru a wet section for the last 5 years.

Nicked a bunch of ponds on old wawayanda Rd. This one is at the water level next to it. Park says they will address itt this year

@Patrick

How does the rest of the park look? I walked through the other day assuming it was pretty much underwater.
Was only on old waway and iron Mt.
Wet with water running down the trails.

I'll be on laurel pond with a return on timber, south, sitting bear, wingdam tomorrow. Will update

Rode part of Xterra this morning, all looks good, I only had to fix one sign that fell on the ground. It was by the AT crossover on Iron Mt.

Can't believe how much drying took place since yesterday. Took the plusser and wished I had the FS. Bugs are firing up though.

Trails are about as good as they get right now. Watch out for low hanging hemlock branches as these trees continue to die back. I snapped off a bunch by hand and a few with m

y head. Horsey people seem to be out in numbers making their special contribution to the tread. Here's a well placed load on a bridge they shouldn't even be on.

Hey @Kaleidopete - i left a couple signs between the boat launch, and wingdam.
Coming up tomorrow to get them - and that tree on pumphouse.
Speaking of which, is pumphouse flooded? think i may want to make a loop.

Great triathlon today - there was a bear between the parking lot and iron mt trail,
and a 5' long black racer on the trail down to wingdam -
gotta give them their money's worth.

saw your signs, Pumphouse is most likely way flooded judging by the rest of the park

@Patrick It is def flooded. Just ride through it like the rest of us nutjobs. haha

I cleared the downed tree and a few other blowdowns on pumphouse to the bridge.

We should start talking to the TC about extending it.

The approach from the back lot is bad. This is standing water. It needs fill, and a bridge.the start of the current bridge is beyond that log

The other side of the bridge shows signs of zero use.

It is such a great trail too.

Does the hiking trail stay dry? I can.hike-a-bike.

Also collected the signs and cleared a downed tree on lower iron Mt.

It’s really only that area near the bridge that floods out on that trail
