Yep. It's pretty ridiculous. Most other beers are now ruined. (Ok, I'm exaggerating a little..🙂 )
Must be the water up there, like NYers liked to say that it's the water that makes them bagels.

Me and a buddy headed to the Cranford Hotel last night when I saw they had Heady Nuggets on tap. I don't know if it tasted so good because it was the first beer of the week or this brew is really exceptional this year, probably a combo of both. What I liked was the rounded out flavor of the finish. You taste the hops of an IPA up front but you also get the smoothness of an ale on the back end.
A word of caution. Do not mix Life cereal and beer, I am a Farting machine this morning. They should call Life cereal Fart, two handfuls of that stuff can produce enough gas to power a motor home.

It's actually not as bitter as the numbers would suggest. Just damn tasty.
Once you get over 10% things tend to get sweeter even though the IBU's go up.
Totally. And Hi-res is a great example. That stuff is delishishly dank and resinney....
