What have you done to your bike today?

I rebuilt this shock last night. In all not so hard but it has not been field tested yet.

Did you need any special tools? I want to try doing my RS Deluxe.

The hardest part was getting the thing opened in the first place. If you have a vice and a pipe wrench, you're good to go. I used a steak knife to get the old seals out. Don't tell your shop mechanic I suggested this. 😛

I'm having a hard time figuring out what you would use the pipe wrench for..or was it a strap wrench?

Yes, but no...Ok, glad it worked out for you, maybe you can modulate your strength better than I can, If I were to use that pipe wrench on a shock it would look like a twisted can of soda. I actually have done the same with a strap wrench.

Glad you covered all the possible questions in your video, what's with the merry christmas bunny costume t-shirt?

I asked the audience that a long time ago on one of the ANT videos. I have no idea. Hoping someone can tell me.

Leo - you don't know that movie?

I know about it now. Was it memorable? It doesn't sound like it is from the IMDB storyline. I guess it didn't make it to Italy back then.

took the ugly silver aksiums off, and replaced with the nice black ones from @onetracker.
Old front goes in the basement on the bike mounted in the trainer - and the rear goes to @clarkenstein
for his trainer. Who has a road cassette around for Dave? nothing fancy, those throw away 12-25s will work.

Gatorskins have seen better days - winter miles and getting old (like 7 years old) maybe more.
came from @walter way back when - they were the extra wheelset for the cx bike @StayHydrated is rocking (still?)
ps - i need a different saddle (143 width) and straight seat post if anybody has a trade in-mind.

I have couple of saddles I'm not using.
Will snap some pics for you little bit later today.

I finally finished my Trail 429. Got it like 2 months ago and it has been sitting idle while I waited for parts and such.

Here she is. Maiden voyage was today up in Port Jervis.
