Dino-gator day at the Carlton reserve. The first one hangs out in the same area for years now. Biggest one I've ever seen. Looks like he has a wild pig in his belly. Or a mountain biker

Wasn't riding but walking...I've never seen a beaver out of water. I thought they were the size of a groundhog...

Biggest native rodents in the US - ave size is 4 times a groundhog. Only invasive capybaras down here are bigger. I was walking the D&R canal towpath years ago and one jumped in the water - sounded like someone dropped a boulder. Saw it swim away - yuge!
