Sorry if you bought a fannypack on my behalf, I still use mine every time. Love it and still would recommend. I dont get the purchase and never use it but whatevers. Actually need to buy another as mine has taken its fair share of abuse.

I've been a fanny pack owner for a while - my bikes are too small for bottle cages and it's better for my center of gravity.

I'd like to mothball the CamelBak. Any dad-purse recommendations?

Double bottle that you can use like a holster.

I use the older version of this:

The best thing about the Camebak was being able to ditch the water bottle, so I personally find it pointless to go back to any system with a water bottle. Now, it gets pretty tight in there with the bladder, but I have my tools, C02, levers, Darts, extra hanger, and one of those super-light nylon tubes. I also use the hose and mouthpiece from the Camelbak because its better and retrofits perfectly. It comes with a chest harness, but you don't need it. It stays snuggly on my narrow-ass, even over some sweet jumps. No, you can't pack a jacket and the kitchen sink, but you're not going camping either. Been using it for over 7yrs, so its pretty durable.

have to agree...I only use it on occasion, its comfortable, holds tools/co2 and two bottles. nice because my pivot only has one cage and I can carry two bottles on this and one on the bike. Not for places where you are jumping alot, although I have without losing anything...very perfect for a hot day on the gravel. Often forget I am wearing it.

Just put this on order using my Co Op REI points. Probably more pack than I need, but free, YO. Hopefully doesn't make my butt look too big:
