Generic Pro Road Cycling Thread

I've been using cyclingtorrents.nl for stuff I've missed. Usually the Eurosport stuff with Dave Harmon and Sean Kelly is up within a coupla hours after the finish. Often in HD, which is nice. When I'm able, I use the links on cyclingfans.com for a live feed. I'm probably gonna be covering my ears a lot the day of Flanders.
A circuit finish would be interesting. They did two laps in Wevelgem, right?

Maybe it was wevelgem I was thinking of, but they do hit a couple of the sections mutiple times. Should make it interesting as the course is new for everyone.

Sagan finally draws blood at de panne. Flanders is gonna be goooood.

Everyone seems to be firing well right now. I think today screws Sagan up for the weekend, though. He can't drop out now. He's gotta defend for the next two days. Might leave him too tired for Sunday. On the other hand, he's 22. He may not know enough to be tired. Quickstep is looking fierce. Chava was awesome.

Agreed. He seems to be able to win at will. And not crash at will. And climb, too. Scary. Merckx scary.

Yesterday was the first win I saw this year where it looked like he worked for it. The climbing this is interesting to as displayed in the TOC.

Should be fun to watch him and Cav at the tour. Top that with the internal Wiggo/Cav tension and I fully expect to see some interesting things to watch and hopefully a couple hissy fits.

Go vande valde.

The veulta finishes the last couple or days have been great. Good to see Gilbert finally get a win this year.

Is there anything else this season on NBCSN? Do they cover any CX stuff in the fall?

I don't get Universal, unfortunately.

Canadian races...they probably drink more than Norm at those things.

The veulta continues to be great, contador got owned for the second time on a mountain top finish. Mountain top finishes the next two days, look for the recaps on steephill

Some excellent early season racing so far. Already an American has screwed the pouch and lost Paris-nice. Sagan looks to be in top form, there is no question he will win at least one classic. If the bad weather forecasted for Milan-San remo holds true, expect to seem Sagan on top, especially after that dreadful stage he just won in horrible conditions.

True, Talansky blew it, but it was exciting to see someone attack instead of wheel sucking. Maybe one to many attacks last week. Sagan looks like an animal already!

Yes, Talansky went one time too many. Hopefully the peleton is cleaner and the top riders have been normalized a bit and we can see more attacks.

If the Sky train is as strong as they appear, they may smother the field and prevent many attacks in the stage races. Unfortunate.
