The Moped
If you ride THAT bike, the backlash will be the least of your problems....🙁
yeah I put a fork in it.
WHO WANTS TO HEAR THE DRAMA ABOUT HOW UNHAPPY I AM ABOUT LOSING MY MOST FAVORITE BIKE EVER?

I think people on here have a sense of humor, it has just evolved a bit more than that of the playground at a 6th grade recess.Well, now I know that they have no sense of humor. Going forward I'll make sure that I post in total seriousness with no joking at all so as not to offend the women here. Because we all know that riding mountain bikes and posting on internet forums about our experiences on the trail are supposed to be done with all seriousness. No fun is allowed.
Man card.......that made me lol......WhoTF says that.
This thread just gets better and better.
yeah I put a fork in it.

She made the choice to appear in the photo, IMO its not an issue.
Another perspective, if you saw a kid with down syndrome riding on the trail how would you report it?
Just one of the many mistakes he has made by starting this post.Oh no he didn't....
I think people on here have a sense of humor, it has just evolved a bit more than that of the playground at a 6th grade recess.
Yes. Because it's not something you see every time your on the trail. What don't you understand about that?
No.Really?! Don't we all ride bikes for fun like we did in 6th grade? Can't be an adult on some things and act like a kid on others.
I should also add if they do not have the fortitude, they may know that the original comments and some of the follows up may offend others. Most people have the fortitude that they do not need to go to a public forum and blert it out.
@Rogueldr part of me wants this to go on all day, but it is starting to get tiresome to me
Here is what in my opinion your issue is....Lack of respect. So in my life I have done many male dominated sports...football, motocross, car racing, etc....During my tenure in each of these sports, there was always the less common sighting of a female racer...Followed by the "OMG LOOK AT THAT...A GIRL...WOW...THATS SO AMAZING" Yes there are less women on mountain bikes then men, no its not ok to think of them as unicorns. Having gotten to know many female bike racers.....they like being treated as BIKE RACERS, equals, respected as fellow mountain bikers and competitors...not unicorns..which when you say it sounds like "I CANT BELIEVE A GIRL CAN DO THAT WITH HER LADY BRAIN". Maybe that was not your intention, but that is EXACTLY how you sound. Disrespectful.
Yes. Because it's not something you see every time your on the trail. What don't you understand about that?
Hmm -
What if i said that picture makes me hot?
(recognize this change of subject/object from another thread somewhere?)

So i've been thinking about this thread to, and since i'm mostly M....
The 'if it happened to you' and you are a guy, it doesn't apply. what does it happen once a year? yeah, you can laugh it off, or maybe be a little full of yourself.
for the ladies, every time they walk by a group of guys, they see it coming, have to deal with it. it has to get real old, real fast.....
where did we learn this? or is it learned at all? (Rhetorical, no need to answer, just think about it for now)
I'll have more to say over in my training blog, cause i'd like to talk about my feelings....(no not those feelings)
Really, how my perspective has changed from meeting smart, athletic, worldly women as an adult...vs the portrayal in the media, and being
an impressionable young person who thinks Joey had the life (or da Fonz, or Vinny Barbarino if you are my age)

Keep shoveling on top of the OP really isn't necessary when a more level headed approach may actually help some of the lurkers out there
who really have no clue. no kombya needed, but this crowd psychology stuff is problematic...
So if you see something rare, you always blert it out on public forums?
