2010 Memorial Day FunDay - May 31

What a fun time!! Great to meet so many new faces, great to see the familiar ones as well. I enjoyed riding, and chatting with Drew, Van, and free-rider......damn dude, you got some bike handling skills! Mare put onanother great ride! Watching bike polo was fun, I just shed a tear for the senseless slaughter of spokes that were just minding their own business.
After the food a group of us went back for some more log play and crashing. Slowly the group started to thin out until there were only 4 of us. We couldn't have timed our exit any better, the t-storm blew in and started to pour as we were loading our bikes. Great day!
 
Mare, thanks for organizing another Fantastic Funday! It was great riding, seeing familiar faces, meeting new ones and watching the carnage of the polo match.

I had a great time even tho i tacoed my front wheel and meeting some new people. I only wish i could make it to jorba fest but i now have to work to make some extra cash to upgrade my wheel set!
 
bike polo rules. my honda was a small sacrifice. although my wipeout was not caught on video you can see my carcass in the aftermath just after one of the other guys goes over the handlebars. what an awesome sport.
 
A special thanks goes to LightBringer for his huge donation! I now have enough utensils, plates, cups, papertowels, and trash bags to last a loooong time...that's a lot of FunDays and other group rides!!

I would love to play more bike polo (I even promise to be less aggressive) but, I will be pretty busy all day. I found 8 more ski poles on Tuesday so, we got that going for us,...which is nice.
