2010 Memorial Day FunDay - May 31

That's great with the potato salad, hot dogs, and veggies. So far I am guessing about 15 - 20 people, but I suspect more will show (or I hope more will show).

I also have Mike bringing drinks and Sue bringing plates, etc in case lightbringer isn't a definite.

I don't have much internet access this week, so feel free to post up and let the planning happen here. I will check back when I can. Yippy!!

A friend of mine and I are in for this. I've only ridden with some of you guys once or twice, but I'm very familiar with Clayton. Would a Walmart Huffy suffice for a leisurely ride through Clayton. I'm assuming yes, but I'm far from a professional.

I was thinking of bringing plates, napkins, etc., but it looks as if that's covered...any suggestions on what I could bring? I don't have a grill and I can't cook so keep that in mind. Let me know what's still needed and I'll bring it.

planning on being there with wife, cousin, cousin's husband and their nine year old son. cousin's family are brand new into the sport. was going to bring hot dogs and rolls but seems to be covered. what is still needed?

I'm not going to be able to stay, but I will still bring all the food service supplies!
Here is the list;

12oz plastic cups
9" paper/plastic plates
6" paper/plastic plates
Plastic Forks
Plastic Spoons
Plastic Knifes
Bounty Paper Towels
Large Trash Bags

Let me know if there is anything else that is needed.
Also where in Clayton Park is this being held and when is the earliest I can arrive to drop off the supplies.

Hoping to make it this year. Will bring something but not sure what. I could load up my grill and bring that if required.

It'll be in the field by the main lot. We usually commondere the left corner of the field for the tables and use the rest of the field to play in.
I've also got to imagine that to anyone thinking of bringing more food to share it couldn't hurt. More food is always better.
Couldn't hurt to have another grill too.

The huffy will work( especially if you have no alternative) Clayton isn't technical just hilly. Just don't try and bomb down the trails and you should be alright.

Hi everyone!

A Huffy will work fine. For anyone who doesn't know Clayton, it's very beginner friendly. It has a few climbs, but nothing major, and it is not technical.

As far as what to bring, I do believe we still need ketchup & mustard. Otherwise it seems we have most things covered. If anyone wants to bring watermelon or miscellaneous snacks, that would work.

See ya'll Monday!!

I'm bringing sodas, chips & camp grill.

I'll be there 8:45ish to get in a murderface ride before the group ride.
