i rode the other day and it was 100 out. i got a quarter mile into the trail and got on to a pavement crossing and went back. is anyone evemn bothering hahaah

went out last night to allaire did close to 12 miles then hit it early this morning for another 10 just make sure you hydrate and stop a bit more than normal...
and of course wring the sweat from your gloves when you are done they tend to get a bit funky in this weather...

Thursday was the only day I took off this past week. I did 75 miles on Wednesday and a triathlon today. The more you do it the easier it will seem. That being said, it still sucks. 😱

I rode this morning 3hrs, 20 miles. Wasn't so bad at 7am in the woods.

I rode on Thursday evening for 2hrs on the road and died in the face.

I rode yesterday in Huber between 6:15 and 7:30 in the morning and it was RIDICULOUSLY hot/humid even at that hour.

was planning on going out today but got stuck watching the Tour. that wasnt over til noon. by that time it was 102 degrees. decided it just wasnt worth it.

gonna save it for tomorrow morning. it'll still be hot but 102 (and humid) is just not worth it.

I rode 6 Mile today with my brother. Did the Canal rd loop. It was quite hot! but as was said "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger"

I was off since Tuesday, so I rode pretty much every day this week. Did a short evening road ride Tuesday night (about 20 miles), did 25 at Fair Hill on Wednesday, 30 at Blue Marsh on Thursday, and I went to NJ to visit my family Friday so I rode at Allaire Friday morning for about 13 miles (big thanks to Lance from Colts Neck for showing me around the trails!) Today I got out this morning for 40 on the road, and was pleasantly surprised by how much nicer it was out than it had been. But by the time I finished, it was starting to get really hot (about 10:15) and by noon it was back in the hundreds here. I have one more day off before going back to work, so I'm heading back to Blue Marsh tomorrow morning for 30 or 40 miles (hopefully!)

Rode yesterday and did a 7 mile loop at 0630. It was hot as balls even that early. Wasn't too bad until you stopped then it was like someone turned on the sweat machine. Nasty for sure. Had the day off so wanted to get some miles in then just chilled in the pool for most of the day.

yea its like a lose-lose if you're trying to cool down and rest because when you're on the bike you are exerting energy, but when you stop, if there isn't a breeze, and most times there isn't, you can't cool off well even though you're not exerting any energy

Been riding in the woods mid day every day. It has not been too bad, I just go a tad slower and drink a lot. Waway was awesome today. It is always a few degrees cooler up in the woods.

took a spin through phillip's park today... one hour trip from 9pm-10pm. the humidity sucked and according to my android weather app, it was 86*... I always cruise around with a 100oz camelbak to make sure i'm always hydrated. 😀

Took the road bike out last night.20miles.The idea was if I had a heart attack or heat stroke someone would see me and call the emts. The city was hot but the woodsy area was cooler.I'll be out tonight also

I rode Chimney Rock this morning and it took me almost an hour to ride blue and red trails. I kept stopping and drinking water. Just not in any hurry.

Afterwards I went down and road a few mile of canal path. That was cooler because of air flow.
