Car-spotting thread

PTS. $11,200. And currently closed until MY24. Not sure PTS fits the T "ethos" of a value-performance 911, but I was considering it with a GTS purchase. Irish Green. Ferry Porsche's favorite color.

But you bring up a good point. I am struggling at times with Python and considering Guards Red. Mostly, because the rear bumper looks a little frumpy in lighter colors without the Sport Design bumper package (which I am absolutely not getting; I'm not paying $4700 for plastic and less of an approach angle). Am I crazy or does the red look better from the back than the green? I also like the way the red plays off the gray accents, it's a very classic color, and it's a free color. Python is $3200.

Vote now; my order locks 3/9.

Yep Guards for me. Like you say Classic (though ironically yet most modern Pcars I see aren’t painted in Guards unlike the 911’s and 944’s of the ‘80’s that were predominantly so). And good point re the grey/black offsets

I think the red is timeless on a Porsche, like it is on a Ferrari. I think Python green will get played out kind of like chalk and the mat greys. Also, what looks good on the 718 does not look necessarily good on a 911 and vice versa.

Blue. Always blue
Shark Blue looks great on the 718, better than it does on the 911. I think yellow looks better on the 911 than the 718. Certain colors while boring, like Agate Grey or Arctic White, look great on both. I've never been a big fan of bright colors because I don't want to draw too much attention. I drive too fast and I don't have the get-out-of-jail-free badge.
