Commuting

Any of you who got time to kill tomorrow i will be doing the Piermont loop after work. 4:30p GWB. Ebineezer chainsaw map1234 soundz looking at you or anyone in the area. Weather permitting of course.
 
I have werk. But in other commuter news my bags and rack showed up at Cycle Craft today ImageUploadedByTapatalk 21369335107.900399.jpg. It's a lot of bag but shiiiiiiit I'd rather have too much than not enough

I got a conference call at 4pm. Gonna try to move it up to 3 or 3:30. If you want, we can drive and start at Tallman St Park and explore climbs to the North. Will confirm tomorrow.
 
Not the best way to start my commuting to work. Forgot my shoes in van that is now 2 hours away from home tonight. Anyone have a light reco for night time commuting? Not a headlight so much as a tail light, a couple people have been hit and one died on my route to work.
 
Check out vis 180 or the 360 from light&motion. Rechargeable and really bright, I've tried a lot of lights and prefer these.
 
WTF i managed to clean up the murder after thur. and fri. Mess and now its pissin heavy out. I froze my balls fri because i was ill prepared but bit warmer today. This poor new bike has already taken a beating. First ride in the rain turned my blacked out rims silver.

Got to get me some SKS raceblades. Problem is i have to order 2 different sets. I got eyelets in back and none up front so a hundy for fenders is something i just cant except yet but after a few more of these commutes and i am gonna pony up.

Because the rubber straps destroy the paint once some grit get under them, which doesn't take long in the rain. I have a pair matty can have for free, but I would not recommend them.
 
Because you don't do custom bike with eyelets only to use non eyelet fenders, just not baller. Besides the quick release of the eyelet SKS is what it is all about yo!
 
I managed to ride in after doing the Bearscat yesterday albeit it was wet to drowned rats like. Work was harder to get through and if i do BS50 again i am sure to take the day off following the race.

Who's up for hudson river drive tomorrow? This morning weather was awesome which looks like tomorrow will be much the same.

So on my way i get passed by this chunky dude all garbed out as super commuter, this didnt sit well so i passed him back before jumping on bridge. Spun that SS as fast as could until we came down ramp only to see super commuter still there wtf! Ok kill it to hospital and chill down harlem figuring he aint going that way. Coasting along and sure as shit he goes by. Now he is blowing major lights and i chase cuz now i need to find out SC bike because his cadence is nothing outrageous. I now notice the fat tire rig has a huge rear hub, catch up and say whats the deal yo? Electric bike ah now i got it. Make small talk, says he commute from Tenafly and knows the boys from the shop. Pushed myself a little more then i liked but good to know i can hang with the electric bike world : )
 
yeah still commuting haven't missed a day in like when ever GWB closed because of snow! Remember that stuff.

Who wants to do 4 30p GWB after work special tomorrow, Ebeneezer Soundz?
