hey macman you know you can use your gps unit to geotag your non iphone pictures right?
i think if i set way points in the pn-40 and them paste them in picasso that should work.

here's this year's mountain man

i tried pasting coords in picasa, but on my linux computer the coords won't save in picasa, my wife is usually on the pc (vista)

btw: i think you (luke) were talking to the dude next to me at the end of the race

i tried waypointing for geotagging, but i ended up w/10 way points for each ride w/about 30 pix

Hi Mt Blue

The Blue Trail was awesome today. Albeit when I headed back towards Franklin Lakes from Wayne on the counter-clockwise blue - balloon loop in the gully I'm not 100% sure where the trail is, but w/pn-40 I can see where I've Been and complete this combo tarmac-off-road ride in under an hour

This is nearly the loop i'll be doing every saturday this spring at 6 am, prior to the Franklin Lake tri Bricks.

That is some crazy ruttage going on at 6 Mile... Should make it super fun to navigate thru them when the ground gets hard🙄... What a shame🙁

GSP Intervals

Did intervals this morning at Garden STate Plaza

http://connect.garmin.com/activity/22909943

I changed the battery on the cadence sensor but it didn't log data

20.4 on the last fast mile is good for me, 1st interval session of the year, faster then last year's max

my weekly friday ride has some room for improvement:popcorn:

Sunday Jan 24th @ Lewis Morris

Sunday morning I'm Mtbing at Lewis Morris. Ride is based on the following gps courtesy of gtluke
http://www.everytrail.com/view_trip.php?trip_id=144133

One Loop of yellow from Sunrise Lake followed by a Loop on Patriot Path to Whitehead Rd and back to Sunrise Lake. Quick paced ride to be sure to finish before any possible rain.

post back or pm for details

Lewis Morris, Patriots Path,Tempe Wick Corey Mendhams Rds.

There was a trail run race at Lewis Morris today, but I took the MTB: Lewis Morris, Patriots Path, Tempe Wick, Corey, Mendhams Rds.

I tried following a gps file but the first part at Lewis Morris, I barely followed the route then at Lendalls Pond I thought I was at Sunrise Lake and headed for the tarmac. At least on the Patriots Path Part of the ride I maintained the proper course.

On High Mountain, Wind Blowing Free, Thinkin 'bout the Days the Used to Be...

So I ran Hi Mtn on Friday at Lunch

Red (wpu), Yellow (to Reservoir drive cirle F.L.), White and Red

I wanted a smaller ballon loop, after coming down on the yellow from hi mt, I crossed the creek, after losing trail and crossing creek downstream, I saw yellow again in either direction, 90+ minute run at 150 beats

hey! get off my trails! 😀
After doing your route last week end at Lewis Morris and Patriot's Path (mtb), I checked out the Lenapie Trail this week end (trail run). No worries next week end I'm going to MDR. However next month I'm going to the Jungle to check out the 08 race loop (both on the mtb)

The Lenape trail is the worst trail in Eagle Rock. White, Blue, and Green are fantastic. Link it up to Mills, and into the Newark reservoir area, and then through Hilltop. If you were feeling especially epic you could take Hilltop through a few miles of roads, to a totally different Lenape trail that will eventually lead to an even different Lenape trail that will take you (through my shortcuts and half assed trailes) into South Mountain.
This would be a 40 mile day though. I've never done them all at once.

Hill top was the place I wanted to go this week end

I asked the gal at the 7/11 on route 23 on little falls, cedar grove border, she never heard of it. So i was happy to find something different

A couple of jobs ago I worked in Totowa on riverview drive. I believe they consider Hi Mount part of the watchungs that extend to SOuth Mountain
