helmets

I wear one, never tell anyone else to do so. Its not my job or any of my business. Nor do any of the justifications helmet patrol types use to explain there hall monitor type actions valid to me. Its your head, protect it as you see fit.

Which is all good except when little Johnny gets hurt on the trails and his mother sues every one she can, which of course is her right and the state closes said park instead of dealing with the backlash and lawsuits.... is this fair? not by any means but we need to play the game to keep our parks open.. and yes this is a bad run on sentence...

I dont give a chit if you dont want to wear a helmet, just dont ask me to come along on one of our awesome mountain bike rides... cause it aint happenin!
I agree, its is all about personal choices and whatnots, but I still cant understand what the reasoning is for not wearing a helmet to lessen the chances of a tramatic brain injury... do you know anyone with a tramatic brain injury? .... I do, and its really amazing as to what little it takes to render you a drooling, busy box playin invalid shell of a human being.
I dont care if you dont wear a helmet, but I do think you should wear one if you have any self respect and care about others who will eventually have to wipe your heiney because you dont have the manual dexterity to do so for yourself... drink up yo!
