Why do you keep repeating this, still nowhere close. DJI puts out 1000w 30 second turbo and 850w in continuous turbo.

I like your quote but I was taught a different version by a colonel 25 years ago who said "Do you want to be right or do you want to be effective?" I've been living by that ever since. Of course this will require you to set aside your ego which can be difficult to do at times.

That is essentially where the quote came from. I forget where I heard it from as I put it into my signature back when I joined some 16 years ago... for some reason I hear Red talking to Eric in That 70s Show when I read it.

Of course, having been single now for the past... 12 years... it's kind of evolved into "Am I still wrong if no one is around to tell me?" ...or something like that... 'cause sure as fuck I'm not happy...

Regarding the Levo 4... I've since watched the Pinkbike video on it... and part of me agrees with Kaz's take... For what it is and how much it weighs, another 20mm of travel would be nice. But as it sits I'm not seeing anything that makes me want to move on from my current Heckler.

There is going to be a long travel version coming out about the time the alloy version comes out. You noticed they noted that the frame is cleared for a 180mm fork? All you need to do is change the linkage and the shock and you have 20-30mm more travel.

This is a really bad idea. If you're going that fast it'll lead to banning emtbs in general as they can tell it's class 3 or not. Generally hate for other MTBs as well for those who share the trails.

Meh, there are already Surrons in every park so what difference does it make? At least the Levo looks like a bicycle.

I think even park rangers can figure out the difference. No complaints about not being a bike, but going faster on trails will lead to bad outcomes. Crashing into someone or tree at 20mph is already not good, same reason speed limits are changing to 20 in NYC. I originally thought it was dumb, but now see the benefits

I haven’t seen it in person but I hear tale the Torque is turned down in Class 3 mode and makes it generally useless in the woods.

This will be a new standard for sure and agree on the class 3 being useless on the trail otherwise specialized would have gotten a ton of blow back. But as all things someone will figure out how to chip that default.

They also went over quite a bit how the new software is not hackable. Although that’s until they fire the guy that designed it and he tells everyone how to hack it 😂

Class 2 needs a throttle, the Levo has no throttle.
