Yes, and strangely I was compelled to turn my lights off today also. I almost never do that. But in between my sets I turned off the lights for quite a stretch today and just rode in the dark. Very awesome morning.
4:45 is impressive. Going to need to beat you on that one, one of these days.
For whatever reason, I was awake at 3:00 and tried to fight it until 4 and then I got up. Wasted 45 min doing who knows what and could have easily made 4:30. This is unusual for me as I have been hurting to make 5:30 as of late.
Agree with Norm, 5 is minimum. Although my 5 would be different, sorta. Bikes without seats and bikes hooked up to child trailers seem to not count at all towards that 5. Another tip. I did this last year, move all your parts from the road bike to a cross frame for the CX season and winter, swap back in spring. It's like cheating.
-Jim.
I have heard that about different frames and moving the parts, maybe if I get an awesome cross bike but I just can't stand riding the CX9 around all winter. I was just thinking about a trials bike too, but that will have to be squashed for the near to distant future.
