This will be my first time seeing them... I really enjoy their studio work and being that your opinion is well trusted it is doubtful I will dislike them live

Wow, it took me awhile to get the heading right, I'm a little rusty.

Well I felt the need to jump back in and post up some good music...Spence has been killing me with his crap. But I like Spence the guy definitely has a passion for music, even if it is misguided. Why does everyone bust Spence's balls?

I've been listening to bands like Toro Y Moi, Naked and Famous as well as Les Savy Fav. They sound great on radio but looking at their live performances they just don't come off great on stage. Bands that rely heavily on a techno or produced sound have a tough time pulling it off on stage, to me the quality is just not there. If you see them live and are caught up in the excitement of the show its probably a better experience, but watching it on youtube kinda blows.

One youtube performance that doesn't blow is this one. Its a band from the early 70's, its a no-brainer to go to this era for a win. Even if you don't like the music its hard not to be intrigued by the performers.

When you think you know something about music, then you stumble on to this and say WTF! Having Sirius Satellite radio in the car is great for finding old shit you never knew about, they have this station called Deep Tracks that plays music you'll NEVER hear on the conventional radio.

I'm not sure when I'll post again, but when I do it will be simply smashing.

The featured band tonight has really been growing on me, I dare you not to like these guys. This band has a distinctive sound, with great guitar rhythms and catchy song writting. To really showcase this band I selected 2 songs to highlight the level of talent these muscians have. So go ahead and give it a listen...let me know what you think Spence.
