got thinking about the epic ride contest. need to do something different, perhaps uncomfortable or unconventional. while this would not be epic, it would be unconventional, so a start.

had a TRX/Spin class scheduled at 9:30 at goryde.

Driving a car to go take a class - conventional.

jumped on the bike and rode the 40 minutes or so to get there - backpack stuffed with indoor clothes. changed, did the TRX workout followed by 40 minutes of short progressive sprint intervals on the spin bike. the phone was out-of-range, cause i forgot my belt, so no HR during that time. then back on the bike for another 1.5 hours for some climbing - slow, but constant pace.

felt good not getting in the car to go workout.

2nd day of 4 day streak. Also last attempt at GPS art - was supposed to be a profile of Geo. Washington but I effed up the garmin connect course and didn't get the eye right. The gps started to freak out - flashing and beeping I was so off course I was afraid it was gonna shut down without saving any data so I high-tailed it home. PS the wind sucked - seemed to be in my face in every direction. Also note to self - stay off Amwell road during rush hour - the section without a shoulder cars were so close they were almost brushing me.

Thats a detailed GPS art. It even has the rip cord on the back of his head to make him talk.

Not too much further to go, can't stop now!! Good news (for you) is that my kids are off for spring break next week and I won't be able to do a long ride on Monday so this will go right up to the very end 😀

bummer is my commute in yesterday doesn't make the cut because I never left the job yesterday. I slept on the table saw as per my commuting thread.
I only request you take pity and at least give me snow ride in again lousy pic in that thread.

Had a cereal/milk problem riding today.
Went out planning on just an hour.
Did the hour, and well, that brings me pretty close to 20 miles for another point.
So I continue to log 20.
And then it's just a little bit longer for another hour, so.....
 
ThursdayBack on my synapse with a working front derail, which I don't use much anyways, but it is better that it works. Felt good after resting yesterday.
