Smokey & the Bandit Extended Online Race

Pretty cool, I saw a Bald Eagle swoop down and grab a fish from the South Branch along Hilllsborough Rd in Three Bridges. I stopped and watch him eat it for about 20 min. Pretty awesome.

That's awesome! Will be on the lookout when I ride in that area!

Dos Wed
Circumstance afforded me some time to ride in the evening so did a quick hour. As others mentioned, crazy weather but I didn’t get rained on at all, actually I don’t think much of the rain in my area got to the ground even though it looked to be raining in the distance. No wet roads or anything.

Thursday
Another moon light morning that allowed some no light riding. Decided to go for 300 miles this week Sun-Sat (I don’t prescribe to the Mon-Sun silliness), so another 2 hours this morning. During this ride I did one milli-set, including microburst sections on top of nanobursts with random picosurges to cap of the set.

commuted today, plus 5

True enough.
don't be scuuured man. 🙂 It rained on me for 30min. Even a picture isn't worth a thousand words in this game.

I'm not gonna even get into wind bonus for this monring then... I'll try to take a video of the wind and upload to share. I'm pretty sure I saw a cow fly across the road. Oh I did take a picture

Not the dirt part, the paved part. Near the intersection it seems to have been hit by 2048 meteors over the past 2 years. They have patched it about 2024 times, leaving a good 2 dozen holes and a lot of mismatched blobs of tar that are none too fun to ride over.

Plus riding in the swamp in evening rush hour is less than ideal.

agreed it's a mess!

day 100:getsome::getsome::getsome::getsome::getsome:

Congrats. That is huge.

I've seen this cow before.

Commuted today: 40.2mi, 3:14- 8pts

So it's kind of quiet around the city with the holidays. It's nice.
The citizens I usually see just use the northern greenways to get from point A to point B, and with a lot of point B's closed, it's quiet. Or quieter anyway.

Ride home was less cool than the ride in.
Rolled out of the gate with a slow leak in the front- must have picked up something on the ride in.
Was still holding air pretty okay, and I had to be home at a certain time, so I decided to push through and deal with it later.

I hit it with the pump which didn't work so well.
These things always work better in the garage.
Didn't want to waste a CO2, so I stopped off at a bikeshop just outside of Van Cortlandt park, topped off proper with their floor pump, and then cornered with a little more confidence after that.
Dude was cool and I tipped him for the loaner on the air.

Had drizzling rain or better keeping me company from the Moshulu to Fort Lee,
but other than that was nice. No flying cows to report.

3/28 - Hour loop, doing some scouting for a dirt loop for Andy's work's yearly biking event:

Take out the horse fields and mud and it's a reasonable loop. Was going to go for another loop but it was getting late and I felt like laying on the floor instead. So I did. I highly recommend laying on the floor. It's underrated.

Woke up this morning and had to pee-
I remembered there is a port-o-potty out on the pier at Piermont,
so I got on the bike and rolled.
True story.

Mission accomplished.

Looked around for Matty, but he wasn't around yet, so I turned and headed back.
